Take more on your next adventure with this front-mount hitch. Haul bikes, mount a winch, or carry gear with a 2" receiver for work or play. Bolt-on install - no welding needed - and a rust-resistant finish keeps it looking sharp.
Sometimes you need access to gear that the rear hitch just can't handle - like a winch, spare tire, or snowplow. This front-mounted 2" receiver gives you a dedicated spot for those tools, so you're not swapping out rear accessories or stuck without options when it matters most.
Whether you're yanking a buddy out of a ditch or using a winch to pull a trailer into a tight space, this hitch is rated for 9,000 lbs of straight-line pull. That's real pulling power when your trail ride turns into a recovery mission or your driveway turns to ice.
When your rear hitch is already spoken for - or just out of reach - this hitch supports up to 350 lbs of vertical load. That's plenty for a front cargo carrier, bike rack, spare tire mount, or other hitch-mounted gear you need up front.
There's no need to haul it to a shop or break out the welder. This hitch bolts directly to your vehicle with the included hardware. No drilling, no cutting, no fuss - just a clean, factory-style fit you can knock out in your own garage.
Nobody wants a bulky chunk of steel hanging off the front bumper. This hitch keeps a clean profile with a hidden cross tube, showing only the 2" receiver. And with a rust-resistant black powder coat, it holds up to road salt and trail grime without looking beat-up.
If you've dealt with a gunked-up receiver, you know the struggle. The open-back design on this hitch makes it easy to clear out dirt, snow, or leaves, so your accessories slide in smoothly every time - no banging, digging, or swearing required.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Curt Custom Fit Front Mounted Two Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver. Now this has been designed specifically for your 2024 and current Toyota Tacoma. And on custom fit parts such as this hitch, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now I do wanna give you an installation note. Your heat shield must be permanently removed to install this hitch, so I just wanted to let you know that upfront. This will include instructions to guide you through the installation process. But this is a two inch, as I mentioned, front mounted trailer hitch receiver, and this is designed for both gear hauling and vehicle recovery. So this is really gonna be a really nice, flexible add-on for your truck.
And because it's up front, you're gonna be able to mount things up front like a winch, a snowplow, or even a front cargo carrier, depending on what you need it for. Now this is built strong too. This receiver is going to support a 9,000 pound line pole, which is going to make this well suited for winching, vehicle recovery, or pulling trailers or equipment into position. For accessories, this is rated for up to 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight and 350 pounds of vertical load. So this is gonna be able to comfortably handle items like bike racks, spare tires, or tool carriers.
Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. This is going to be a bolt-on setup with all the hardware that you're going to need to get this installed into place. So you really don't have to worry about drilling, or definitely don't have to worry about welding since this is gonna be a bolt-on installation. But once installed, this design's gonna keep everything looking clean. The cross tube is gonna be hidden behind your bumper, and only the receiver opening is going to be visible.
And this open back receiver is a nice bonus because it's going to let dirt, salt, and debris pass through instead of building up inside, which is gonna help with long-term maintenance. And then to top it off, this does use the standard five eighths of an inch pinhole. So this is gonna work with common hitch pins and accessories. So this is gonna be a solid, clean-looking front receiver that is going to really give you real utility whether you're recovering vehicles, moving gear, or running front mounted accessories. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we have here to your trailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
Great front mount hitch by curt, made really well. Mounted on 2025 Toyota Tacoma, easy to install, about 45 minutes. Used for small plow. Will cut hole in air damper to slide over hitch and will reinstall it in the spring, plow will not go on with air damper on there. E Tralior made it easy to look up product and showed that it would fit my Tacoma and ordering was easy and free shipping. Arrived 2 days early. Very satisfied with their service.
Great job ! it looks and feels sturdy and the paint is the best unfortunately the unit somehow damaged the box it was in and punctured one side and the top was tapped back shut during transport or handling. But no worries the only damage was a paint scuff on the hitch body. I will update my review after install and use but overall I am very satisfied,
Thank you guys
Works great on my 2025 Tacoma! Installation was super easy, perfect fit and solid build. Very satisfied!

That looks great on that new Tacoma! I am glad the installation went smoothly for you. What are you planning to use that front hitch for?
The hitch fits perfectly. Installation was strange with wires holding blots, but it worked out.
Perfect! Easy install. I was able to cut my airdam with a utility knife. The template pictured in the instructions on where to cut was definitely helpful.
One note- you will see the hitch through the airdam "vents". I used drywall sandpaper to cover said "vents" as a temporary solution.
Hitch was super easy to install. I have the luxury of having a car lift which made it much easier however installing it myself with minimal effort, took about 25 minutes.
The only challenge, and it’s not really a challenge, is that the instructions that come with the package are in black-and-white and the images are extremely difficult to see. While I get it should be straightforward for somebody who may not be very inclined. It could be a bit of a challenge to understand how to feed the bolts and the fish wires through.
Packaging of the hitch also had some challenges. Because of the design of this hitch, both the upper arms had busted through the box and were scraped up from delivery. Well, it wasn’t much of an issue to hit it with a little black touchup paint there could be a better design for the shipping box. Again that might be nitpicking, but it’s challenging to move a box that has two very heavy metal arms sticking out of
This was actually the second Kurt hitch. I’ve used to install on the front of a Toyota Tacoma pick up truck. In both cases, they are extremely straightforward and mount with no effort. I do understand that in some cases there are slight modifications made to either the air dam or the body molding. In my case for the TRD off-road none of those models required that. For my instance, I simply just didn’t reinstall the air dam which could not line up.
Quick delivery, good instructions. Video would have been helpful. Took
Great product
Item was damaged in shipping. It had to be modified to work on my Tacoma. The manufacturer or eTrailer refuse to admit they shipped the product wrong.

That is great to hear! I am glad the install went smoothly for you and the hitch got there quick. What kind of snowplow are you running with that Tacoma?? We could have used your help last week during our first unexpected snow.
